Chocochip & Coconut Cookies

The Chocolate Chip Cookie is America's most famous cookie. Everybody likes these cookies and especially kids just love them and never seem to be tired of them.
Recently, I stayed at the ‘Double Tree Hilton in Bristol” and each guest was offered a hot chocolate cookie during checking in. Those were the best cookies I’ve ever had …gooey and fudgy inside and crispy on the outside!!! I have promised myself that treat again but noooo I’m not going back to Bristol but will definitely try baking them soon...

Till then here’s the choco chip of the old block!!!!

The Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe is very simple.

Ingredients

Flour - 250 gms

Ghee (clarified butter) - 150 gms
Condensed milk - 100 ml
Baking soda - 1 tsp
Powdered sugar - 100 gms
Dried coconut grated - 150 gms
Cardamom powder 1 tsp
1 egg

Method

1. Mix ghee with flour and baking soda till the texture becomes like bread crumbs.
2. Add a beaten egg, condensed milk and powdered sugar and knead to a very soft dough.
3. Add grated coconut and cardamom powder and knead again till mixed.
4. Roll it into small balls and press it between your palms to get a flat round shape.
5. Pre heat the oven to 180 degree and bake for 20 mins till it turns golden brown.
Replace coconut and cardamom with - Choco chips and little vanilla essence for #Chocochip cookies#Butterscotch chips and little vanilla essence for #Butterscotchchip cookies#Cinnamon and dry ginger for other flavours also tastes absolutely gorgeous.
